Conceptual Fomulation

A food maker wants to print product information directly on giant-size bags for the gastronomy.

Particular difficulty

The content and date of expiry has to be printed on the wrapping before the boiling process. The difficulty consisted in finding a color quality appropriate for near-edge-printers that could resist the pressure of this industrial boiling.

Solution proposed by alpharoll

alpharoll found and provided a thermal transfer ribbon which is extremely resistant to heat and humidity and processable with near-edge-printers. Only resin qualities with exceptional properties were a possibility from the outset.
